A lifting warm front will form a few spotty showers over northern Missouri today with about 0.10" or less expected. Due to a developing southeast wind, temps will rise into the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Conditions should remain fair this evening with some clearing of skies possible tonight. Temps will remain mild in the 50s with increasing clouds again by Friday morning.
A strong passing cold front will sweep the area Friday morning with a few scattered showers possible until 9am. Then, much cooler and breezy conditions will ensue. Temps in the morning will begin in the middle 50s, falling into the 40s by the afternoon. winds will be out from the west and southwest at 10-25mph and could gust up to 35 to 40 mph.
Pockets of snow flurries will be possible by Friday evening and cold arctic air begins to set in over the Midwest. Overnight low temps into Saturday morning will fall into the upper 20s. High pressure overhead should allow for some sunshine Saturday before a rain/snow mix becomes possible Sunday. Spring-time showers and thunderstorms appear probable for early nextweek.
