***Severe Storms are Still Possible Saturday Evening***
Quick intensification of storms is possible tonight. All modes of severe weather will be possible in Missouri Saturday with our main threat being very large hail (baseball size), damaging winds (80 mph) and frequent lightning. Tornadoes will also be possible in a few thunderstorms. Have a plan to seek shelter quickly during severe storms. This tornado threat is likely to diminish after dusk, becoming mainly a damaging wind threat this evening as the system moves through the area.
Cooler and drier weather will move in to central Missouri on Sunday providing sunshine and mild temps in the middle 70s. These conditions will continue into Monday for Memorial Day with sunshine and highs near 80.
