First Alert Forecast
We're waking up to clearing skies and much cooler conditions this morning with morning temperatures in the middle 20s and wind chills back in the teens. It will be the coldest day of the work week with highs in the upper 30s. Winds will be breezy again, shifting out of the west at 10-15, gusting to 25 mph.
After a warm up into the 50s on Wednesday, another quick passing cold front will sweep the Midwest early Thursday morning, leaving skies mostly cloudy with a slight chance for flurries overnight. Once again, drier than normal air will likely dissipate precipitation, as has happened over recent weeks.
While temps will hold in the 30s and lower 40s on Thursday and Friday. A big warm-up is expected Saturday with highs approaching the upper 50s. Overall, an above-average temperature pattern and below-average precipitation pattern is expect through at least the middle of December.
