First Alert Forecast
A few spotty showers will become possible by evening ahead of a secondary passing frontal system. Rain is expected to change over to light snow showers this evening and continue through midnight. No accumulation is expected. Overnight temps will fall into the middle 20s.
The weekend up ahead will be much cooler and several degrees below normal with breezy conditions continuing. A quick moving area of high pressure should provide sunny skies on Saturday with temps into the lower 40s by the afternoon. Winds will be breezy, gusting as high as 30 mph.
By Sunday, another passing storm system will spread moisture overtop of a still very cold airmass. This will provide a chance for a rain/snow mix, changing to all rain by the afternoon as temps rise into the middle 40s. Several indications show some sleet possible by late Sunday/early Monday before temps sharply rise into the 50s/60s with a chance for showers and thunderstorms.
