Scattered showers are likely this afternoon as a slow moving area of lower pressure works out of SE Kansas and into SE Missouri. Moisture is wrapped up within this low and with its slow track, rain showers are likely to continue off and on throughout the day. Temps will hold in the 50s. An additional 0.25” to 0.75” of rainfall is possible today.
Rain should clear up by evening with skies remaining cloudy tonight. Overnight low temps will fall into the middle 40s under a north breeze.
Clouds will slowly clear Tuesday with skies becoming partly sunny by the afternoon. Temps will be slightly warmer with highs in the lower 60s tomorrow.
The active spring pattern continues with chances for showers and thunderstorms once again by Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the 60s. This upcoming storm system is expected to clear by Friday with a few drier days Friday/Saturday before another passing storm system is yet again, expected to bring another chance for rain by late weekend.
