First Alert Forecast
It's a gorgeous start to our Friday! Our skies are clear and morning temperatures have cooled to the upper 50s/low 60s.
Skies remain sunny for a majority of the day, with a few passing clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures will be a bit warmer today with highs in the middle to upper 80s.
As a weak cold front moves through this afternoon and evening, a spot shower or isolated thunderstorm will be possible, however, a good majority of Mid-Missouri should remain dry for any evening plans.
Expect sunny skies and a slight warm up for this weekend. Highs reach the upper 80s/low 90s with heat indices in the middle 90s by Sunday.
For Monday (Eclipse Day), it should be a mainly sunny start to the day with increasing clouds through the afternoon. Some good news: showers and storms should hold off until late Monday evening and last through the day on Tuesday. We'll keep you updated through the weekend.
