A few clouds will blanket the skies this evening and a northerly wind may create chilly conditions. Overnight temperatures are expected to fall into the upper 40s over much of Mid-Missouri tonight. This would be the first night with temps at 50 or below this fall season for Columbia.
With no forward movement, an upper level storm system over Illinois is expected to stay in the Midwest into the weekend. Skies will remain partly to mostly sunny with afternoon temperatures holding into the lower to middle 70s. Spotty showers remain possible over eastern Mid-MO Thursday through Saturday.
