Areas of patchy fog will be possible again Wednesday morning, but is not expected to be as widespread. Temps will be in the lower 70s out-the-door.
More sunshine is expected and temps will take a big jump to near 90 by the afternoon. High humidity could send heat index values into the 95 to 100 range.
An approaching weak frontal boundary could pop a few very isolated thundershowers by the evening, but most activity will remain far north of I-70.
While the humidity slowly fades away later this week, the hot air does not. Sunshine and a south breeze will keep temps in the upper 80s and lower 90s through Saturday. Heat index values will be in the 93-97 range.
