First Alert Forecast
Clouds will continue to pull away through the rest of the day and into tonight. The clear skies, along with cooler high temperatures Saturday afternoon, will allow us to fall into the upper 30s in some spots for our low tonight. But, by tomorrow afternoon, the 70s will return once again along with the sunshine, making for a pleasant second half of the weekend.
We'll stay dry and warm for the first couple of days of work week. Monday and Tuesday are both rain-free and into the middle to upper 70s for highs. By nightfall on Tuesday, showers and T-storms could sweep through the area ahead of a progressing cold front.
Wednesday will be cooler once the front passes with highs into the upper 60s.
Another, much larger, chance of showers and thunderstorms could set up for the late week and into the first half of the weekend as a new system quickly rolls in. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday currently have solid chances for showers and T-storms. Many things can change in that amount of time but some models are picking up on some kind of late week rain threat. We will monitor the situation.
By next Sunday, we should dry out some but we'll be cooler once more with highs in the lower 60s.
