First Alert Forecast
A few afternoon clouds will move in ahead of a warm front. Spotty showers may be possible. Temperatures will be a bit warmer today with highs in the middle to upper 80s.
As a weak cold front moves through this evening, a few spotty showers or isolated thunderstorms will develop over west and northwest Missouri by the evening. A few of these may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and or small hail. These storms will continue to move through central Missouri later this evening and clears after midnight.
Some patchy fog will be possible before sunrise on Saturday. Otherwise, high pressure will keep skies sunny with a slight warm up for this weekend. Highs reach the upper 80s/low 90s with heat indices in the middle 90s by Sunday.
For Monday (Eclipse Day), it should be a mainly sunny start to the day with increasing clouds through the afternoon. Some good news: showers and storms should hold off until late Monday evening and last through the day on Tuesday. We'll keep you updated through the weekend.
