A cold front will pass through mid-Missouri overnight through Thursday morning. This will kick-off a cooling trend through the remainder of the work week. Highs will only reach into the 70s through Friday.
As for rainfall, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected on Thursday. Friday looks overcast and drier, but the chance for a passing shower and sprinkle remains.
More showers and thunderstorms are possible on Saturday. Highs will reach around 80 on Saturday as well.
Sunday looks drier at this point with highs in the middle 80s under partly sunny skies.
Next week will include a warming trend back into the 90s with showers and thunderstorms looking most promising on Tuesday as a warm front pushes north through the area.
