This evening, skies will remain partly cloudy under warm, breezy conditions. An isolated storm is possible overnight over northern mid-Missouri. Temps will hold in the 70s/80s, falling to near 70 by Thursday morning.
Skies will be partly sunny on Thursday with warmer and muggy conditions. This could pop a few thundershowers throughout the day, with greater chances north of I-70. Temps will rise to near 90 with heat indices nearing 94.
Storms are likely overnight Thursday and Friday morning and could be strong with strong winds possible. The chance for scattered showers and storms will continue throughout the day Friday as a cold front slowly works south through the state.
A passing cold front will stall over southern Missouri late Friday and keeps very isolated storm chances for the weekend, mainly south of I-70. Temps through the weekend will hold in the middle 80s.
Better chances for rain exist on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Stay tuned.
