First Alert Forecast
Another quick moving area of energy in the atmosphere will keep skies mainly cloudy. Temperatures will remain near or below freezing this evening and a few flurries are possible overnight. Once again, drier than normal air will likely dissipate most precipitation, as has happened over recent weeks. No accumulation is expected.
While temperatures only rebound into the lower 40s Friday, a big warm-up is expected Saturday due to a warm front with highs approaching the upper 50s. However, some much need rain is expected to move into the state by Sunday morning and may continue throughout the afternoon. Sunday's temperatures will only reach the upper 40s.
Overall, an above-average temperature pattern and below-average precipitation pattern is expected through at least the middle to end of next week. Highs will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s with a slight chance for rain on Monday.
