First Alert Forecast
Clouds will begin to move back in this afternoon ahead of another cold front and a few spotty late-afternoon showers may be possible. Breezy winds will pick up out from the northwest at 15-25 mph. High temps will still reach the upper 60s today.
By the evening, that cold air behind the front begins moving in and overnight temps will drop into the lower 40s under mostly clear skies.
Tuesday will be a chilly and breezy day where jackets are preferred all day! Under mostly sunny skies temps in the afternoon will only reach the lower to middle 50s. This sets up the coldest night of the season where overnight temps will reach the middle 30s.
A quick warm-up is expected by the middle of the week where Wednesday and Thursday's temps will jump into the upper 60s to lower 70s.
A major cool-down is expected this weekend where temps will drop anywhere from 10-20 degrees below normal. Precipitation chances will remain uncertain for now as the air during this time appears to remain too dry, but sensitive plants may need to be covered to prevent a FREEZE. Temps this weekend will be in the 40s/50s with morning temps in the lower 30s.
