First Alert Forecast
Clouds will continue to hang overhead for the rest of the day Saturday. By midday Sunday, scattered showers will start to move into Mid-MO. Right now, freezing rain is a small possibility as the rain first moves in, mostly for the extreme northern portions of the viewing area. However, by the afternoon, everything will transition back into rain showers as highs tomorrow top out in the lower 40s.
As we start the work week, our warmest day will come Monday. Highs fall into the lower 30s by Tuesday and finally bottom out by Thursday afternoon as we will struggle to get into the upper 20s. Chances for snow flurries return to the forecast for Wednesday and a better shot for more snow comes back for the first half of the next weekend.
