A broken and disorganized line of showers and storms will arrive this morning, tapering off by 10am. Skies will remain mostly cloudy today and winds will be breezy, gusting to 25 mph from the southwest. Temperatures will warm to near 70 in most areas today.
Another slight chance for rain comes ahead of a passing cold front late this afternoon and early this evening. Pockets of rain will be scattered over eastern Missouri, again very broken in their nature. Winds will shift out from the north and temperatures will fall into the middle and upper 40s under clearing skies.
Sunshine will return on Thursday with a brief cool down. Temperatures will warm into the middle and upper 60s. Winds will shift out from the south late Thursday and hold temps in the 50s Thursday night.
Another unseasonably warm air mass will move back into the Midwest Friday, lasting through Saturday. Temperatures will climb into the upper 70s to near 80.
