First Alert Forecast
Clearing of cloud cover has led to some brief early morning sunshine. However, this will be short lived as more clouds and light rain will dive south out from Iowa by mid to late morning. This will lead to mostly cloudy skies and drizzly, cool conditions this afternoon as highs only reach the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Cool this evening as clouds slowly clear. Winds will also begin to settle due to high pressure developing overhead. Temps by Thursday morning will be cool in the upper 40s throughout much of mid Missouri.
Sunshine will be in full force on Thursday with a light southwest wind developing. This wind will lead to warmer temps in the middle 70s.
Thunderstorms are in the forecast this weekend. While it will not rain for the entire time, any thundershowers that do develop cloud be rather strong at times and may need to be monitored for gusty winds and hail. Temps early this weekend will be into the 80s due to partly to mostly sunny conditions around the storminess.
By Sunday, slightly cooler air will move in and rid the rest of the weekend of rain chances. Temps will hold in the mid to upper 70s un sunny skies through Tuesday of next week
