Dense fog advisories will be in effect until 9am with visibilities reduced to less than ¼ mile in most areas over central Missouri.
After morning fog lifts, skies will be filled with sunshine and a developing south breeze will help temps rise to record high levels this afternoon. High temps are expected in the middle to upper 70s this afternoon.
This evening will remain calm and quiet with overnight temps falling into the lower 50s. Patchy fog may become possible by Thursday morning.
Clouds will begin to fill the skies Thursday with an isolated storm possible over northern Missouri by the evening. Temps will rise into the lower 70s before falling into the 40s/50s on Friday with very breezy conditions. Winds on Friday my gust up to 30 to 40 mph.
The weekend up ahead will be much colder and near normal for this time of the year with temps in the 40s and a chance for light snow showers Saturday morning and Sunday morning.
