A few clouds sweep south this morning, leaving skies with abundant sunshine today. Winds will pick up and shift out from the southwest, to the north, up to 25 mph at times. Temperatures will be moderated by these cooler, northerly winds, holding in the mid-50s this morning, warming into the upper 60s this afternoon.
By the evening, winds settle, leaving Mid-MO calm and cool, with temperatures falling into the lower and middle 40s overnight.
Sunshine continues in full force through the rest of the week. Temperatures will remain mild for Thursday, under northerly winds, only warming near 70 degrees. These winds will shift from out of the south by Friday, warming temperatures into the upper 70s, and into the lower 80s by Saturday.
Chances for isolated t-storms are slight, but possible this weekend. Better chances arrive by late Sunday, and into the early part of next week.
