First Alert Forecast
Today is the first day of fall, but it certainly isn’t going to be feeling fall like as hot and humid conditions continue across mid-missouri. We will see sunny skies with high temperatures in the lower 90s this afternoon, but once we factor in that humidity it feel like mid to upper 90s.
It will remain warm and humid for the area football games tonight. Temperatures at kickoff will still be in the middle 80s with heat indices in the lower 90s.
We will start to cool off just a little bit for the weekend with highs in the upper 80s. Humidity will be a little lower so heat index values should only reach the lower 90s on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. If you are going to be spending time outside remember to stay hydrated as these temperatures are well above average for this time of the year.
Rain chances stay out of the forecast for this weekend, but they do return mid week next week along with cooler and more seasonal temperatures.
