First Alert Forecast
Sunday evening has a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms. Some of these will include lightning, heavy downpours, hail and strong wind gusts. They should build quickly, dump their energy, and die off. Otherwise, expect clear skies overnight with warm and muggy conditions. Low temps will reach around 70 by sunrise Monday.
You can expect a lot of sunshine on Memorial Day. Temperatures will be near records in the lower 90s. With humidity it will feel like the middle to upper 90s. Be sure to use sunscreen, stay hydrated and make sure pets are inside/have plenty of shade and water.
Tuesday will likely see a few more clouds with highs in the upper 80s near 90. There is also a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening.
Better chances for showers and thunderstorms exist on Wednesday and Thursday. This will be from the remnants of post-tropical Alberto from the Gulf of Mexico as it moves north along the Mississippi River. Thursday may get some of its moisture from a separate system moving in from the Great Plains to our west.
