Since the age of seven, my fascination with weather began after seeing a waterspout on a family vacation in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The power and beauty of that storm captivated and intrigued me. From that day on, during storms, you would be able to find me out on my deck watching the volatility of Mother Nature. I knew exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up, I wanted to be a meteorologist.

Born and raised in Saint Louis, I had experienced the Great Flood of ’93 and still remember to this day watching people being rescued from the tops of buildings in Chesterfield Valley. I have seen everything from snowstorms to thunderstorms, hurricanes to tornadoes, floods to droughts and my love for the weather just continues to grow. Weather has truly become a passion for me. I not only enjoy it, but I also understand it. I graduated from Francis Howell North High School in 2004 already knowing what I wanted to do. I decided to follow my dreams and head to The University of Missouri to pursue a Meteorology degree.

I started my career at KOMU-TV 8 in January 2007 as a fill in weathercaster and have moved up in the ranks to now serve as your weekend meteorologist in Mid Missouri.  I am now officially graduated from The University of Missouri with a Bachelors degree in Meteorology and Communications. I look forward to bringing you in depth, accurate forecasts, with coverage you can count on.
