Back To School

BACK TO SCHOOL!
Going back to school is stressful whether you're 5, 15 or 35.  It's important for parents to help make the transition back to school smooth: a smooth transition can give the child the confidence he needs to do well all year.  Start making adjustments several weeks ahead of time:

1) REST: Earlier bedtimes
2) NUTRITION: Fuels a child's brain
3) MORNING ROUTINES: Prepare the night before
4) AFTER SCHOOL ROUTINES: Homework, dinner bedtime.

Also, visiting the school and meeting your teacher ahead of time will help alleviate first-day-jitters at any age.
