I have started a "Sweater Project" at First Presbyterian Church 16 Hitt Street. This is in conjunction with Franklin Graham's ministry - Samaritan's Purse. This project is called Iamb's Wool. They sort new or like new sweaters we send them and give them to needy children in over 100 countries. Lamb's Wool is a part of Operation Christmas Child, another Franklin Graham ministry. Shoe boxes are filled and they are taken to children all over the world who need warmth, soap, a towel and a toy. This is done at Christmastime. Last year over 7 million boxes were packed and taken to needy children. These children need our help.
