Corned Beef and Cabbage

2 cups shredded cabbage

1/4 cup shredded carrots

1 tablespoon flour

1/4 teaspoon caraway seed or nutmeg

1/2 cup milk

1 cup thinly sliced corned beef
 
Mix cabbage and carrots with flour and seasoning. Stir in milk and meat. Cook covered on high for 4-6 minutes or until cabbage is desired doneness. Let stand 5-10 minutes. Makes 2-3 servings.
 
Double the recipe for up to 6 servings. Cooking time will need to be increased. Bacon, ham, or smoked sausage can be substituted for the corned beef.
