New documents indicate the father, Darrel Mohler, 72, forced his young daughters to help abduct and kill a man. His children, now in their late twenties and thirties said their father told them unless they killed the man, he would kill them. Mohler gave the girls knives to do the job.

The allegations came from three sisters in search warrant affidavits received late Monday, which also revealed another unrelated victim.

The five Mohlers were in court Tuesday. Family members said they could not believe this was happening to their relatives.

Only Jared Mohler of Columbia appeared with legal representation. He waived the reading of the charges and pleaded not guilty.

The Rural Case Squad will disband Wednesday and local investigators will continue following leads with this case.
