44-year-old David Corn of Auxvasse was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the death of his wife Melissa Corn.

Her body was discovered earlier this year near the Missouri River in Callaway County.

Prosecutors say the husband and wife had an argument about another woman living with them.

At the time of her death, Melissa Corn suffered from cerebral palsy and was confined to a wheelchair.

The 2005 murder of a former Macon County prosecutor is back in the news.

Investigators said David Masters was poisoned by an extremely lethal dose of cocaine.

The man accused of killing Masters was supposed to go trial this week in southwest Missouri. However, Thomas Naumann's trial has been delayed until next April.

Prosecutors said Naumann, along with a woman, murdered Masters because he was behind on his rent and had made unwanted advances to the woman.

Finally, KOMU has had several stories recently about small towns in Missouri allowing drivers to motor around in golf carts to save gas money.

The Missouri Revenue Department said only golf carts designated as low-speed vehicles can be used on Missouri streets and roads.

Highway Patrol troopers have been told to keep an eye out for golf carts that don't fall under that catagory.
