Honor Flight Takes Off Tuesday

COLUMBIA - After months of fundraising, the Central Missouri Honor Flight will soon be on its way.

The Honor Flight will depart from the Holiday Inn Executive Center at 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Its one-day journey will take local WWII veterans to see their memorial in Washington, D.C.

The Honor Flight requests that the public gather at 10 p.m. Tuesday night at the Executive Center with American flags and signs to welcome home the veterans from their journey.
