Missouri and Iowa State are both bowl eligible as they head into Saturday's game.

Saturday at Faurot Field is both Senior Day and the Blackout game, when the Missouri Tigers host the Iowa State Cyclones.

The teams are both bowl eligible and nearly even in record with Mizzou at 6-4 and Iowa State at 6-5.

While the Tigers are likely headed for a fifth consecutive bowl game under Gary Pinkel, the Cyclones, under first year head coach Paul Rhoads, appear headed for their first bowl appearance since 2005.

"Paul Rhodes has done an exceptional job with that football program. And, a dual-threat quarterback in Arnaud. I think he's thrown for 1500, rushed for about 500, probably one of the best dual-threats we have in this league." Gary Pinkel, Missouri's head football coach.

The Tigers, coming off a win against Kansas State, are ready to take on the Cyclones.

"They're gonna come out and try to get the run going. But one thing about those guys, they're balanced. They can throw the ball, run the ball as well, we just gotta go out there on defense, make sure we tackle, line up right, get everybody on the same page," Sean Weatherspoon, Senior Linebacker for Missouri.
