ELDON - County prosecutors say a man that worked at a school for children with disabilities allegedly sexually abused a student.
Prosecutors say they think the man sexually abused a 16-year-old boy on March 3 at a school in Eldon.
KOMU 8 obtained the probable cause report from the Miller County Prosecutor's Office, Monday.
Robbie Skokowski was working at the Dogwood Hills State School when a teacher found him alone, behind a curtain with a student.
The teacher saw him and she ran to get the school's director who then called the police.
Police then questioned Skokowski but did not arrest him for two days, once prosecutors got a warrant.
He is charged with second degree statutory sodomy.
The school has 19 students who are dually disabled, with mental and physical disabilities.
The Eldon Police chief refused to comment on the matter.
Charlie Taylor, the school's superintendent said, "The students' safety is still the first and foremost responsibility in our schools."
Skokowski, an Eldon resident, paid bond and was released from jail the same day he was arrested, March 6.
