FULTON - The city where Winston Churchill once spoke has come a long way in 150 years.
Fulton has a history so rich, it's difficult to put the past into perspective.
"We've lost some of our wonderful architecture, but we do have pride in our history," Barbara Huddelson with the Fulton Historical Society said.
At this year's Fulton Street Fair, the town's 6th annual, some local celebrities weighed in about the town.
"Well, besides home baby, I mean it's a good way of life, good wholesome folks, I love to come here to Fulton, Missouri," Elvis Presley himself said.
And if you ask the King, you must hear from the Queen of the Callaweigens. So what does Fulton mean to Megan Murphy?
"Everything. You know that. I'm here every week - Coverage from Callaway," Murphy said.
Even an evil villain weighed in.
"I think it would be a nice place to leave a garrison in. I think the troopers would love it," Darth Vader said.
With a rich history and a community filled with pride, Fulton's past means a lot to a lot of people and each person finds a different word to describe it. Some call it "friendly," "home" or even "America, absolutely."
"Fulton is your everyday good, American town, you see everybody having fun, just a great community," David Davis said. "It's got most anything you want."
