JEFFERSON CITY - Money for Ellis Fischel and another University of Missouri building projects are on hold after Gov. Jay Nixon announced his plans to veto funds from Missouri's budget.

Nixon announced $105 million in funds from Missouri's budget and put restrictions on expenditures on an additional $325 million Wednesday. The line-item vetos of the budget include $12.6 million for ethanol funding beyond fiscal year 2011, $5 million for college construction prjoects, $16.5 million for MOHELA project and $10 million for the Jefferson exchange.

Nixon placed restrictions on spending for Ellis Fischel and Benton-Staddler Hall projects for the University of Missouri-Columbia as well as projects at Missouri State and Truman State University.
