ST. LOUIS (AP) - Members of another Missouri group are headed for Louisiana to help animals left homeless by Hurricane Gustav. Best Friends Sanctuary Director Randy Grim and a member of the group left Missouri last night. On Saturday, eight members of the Humane Society of Missouri's Disaster Response Unit arrived in New Orleans with hundreds of animal crates and semi-trucks to help rescue the animals. In 2005, in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the Humane Society of Missouri Disaster Response Team rescued more than 2,000 animals.
