On Saturday, July 12, 2008, officers with the North Missouri Drug Task Force, Chariton County Sheriff's Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Moberly Police Department and Federal Bureau of Investigations, executed a search warrant located at 28780 Shelby Avenue, Salisbury, Missouri. 

The search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation conducted by the North Missouri Drug Task Force, Moberly Police Department, Randolph County Sheriff's Department and the Chariton County Sheriff's Department, which originated in Moberly and Randolph County.  

Members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol S.W.A.T. team executed the warrant and secured the residence around 2:00 a.m. on Saturday. Moberly Police K9 initiated a search of the residence for drugs, locating a large amount of marijuana in the residence.  A subsequent search of the residence revealed a large amount of cash and other items associated with the sale and use of illegal drugs.

William Scott Bowen age 39 and Amy M. Bowen age 31, both of Salisbury, were arrested on Saturday, July 12. William was arrested for a class A felony possession with intent to distribute marijuana and a class C felony possession of controlled substance. His bond has been set at $100,000.

Amy M. Bowen was arrested for a class B felony possession with intent to distribute marijuana and class C possession of controlled substance. Her bond has been set at $50,000. Both subjects are being held in the Randolph County Detention Center.

Two Juveniles were also present at the residence.  One of them was taken into custody and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Kirksville. Missouri.  The other was taken into protective custody by the Chariton County Juvenile Office.
