MISSOURI - People living in 35 Missouri counties affected by last month's flooding won't have to worry about reporting to the tax man for another month.
Those living in counties approved for federal disaster assistance will have until May 19th to file most state taxes. If you plan to file an extension you must write: "Missouri severe storms and flooding" on top of your tax forms.
The filing extension applies to those living in or who use paid tax preparers:
