ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The remnant rains from Hurricane Gustav have arrived in Missouri, with some central parts of the state already seeing as much as 6 inches of rain. Meteorologist Benjamin Sipprell with the National Weather Service says there's the potential for some flooding near creeks and river tributaries, though no word of significant problems by Thursday morning. He reminds motorists not to drive into areas where water covers roadways. Sipprell says wet weather left over from the hurricane which hit the Gulf Coast was hovering around Arkansas the last few days, but rain began falling in Missouri on Wednesday.
