An inside look at a couple who have made marathons a part of their life.
Bob Bohem, doesn't wear his sunflower shorts for every marathon.
His wife, Janet, says he wears them when he needs extra inspiration.
Columbia's heart of America marathon wasn't Bob's first race.
"I''ve run 84 marathons, my first one in 1988," said marathon runner Bob Bohem.
His marathon addiction started when he decided to shed a few pounds.
"I was in the military and got to about 150 pounds and said I need to lose some weight," said Bohem. "And I started running for the fun of it."
Between marathon running Bohem found time to run to the alter.
"We were in New York visiting Bob's family and under the Rockefeller Christmas tree, is where he proposed," said Bohem's wife, Janet. "And I had no idea that was coming."
Bob and Janet had a marathon wedding in June.
"It was the first marathon, in Tulsa, and we were with this photographer," said Janet. "And he (Bob) came over and gave me a kiss, but she caught it just before our lips touched, and we had the photo blown up and people signed it at our wedding, the kiss photo."
Janet chases on wheels while Bob runs. She's not just his wife. She's his cheerleader all the way to the finish line.
