JEFFERSON CITY - Stephen Webber announced candidacy for 23rd District seat in the Missouri House of Representatives on Tuesday.
Webber is a graduate of Hickman High School in Columbia and attended St. Louis University before his education was interrupted by a tour of service in Iraq. He currently serves as an aide to Senator Claire McCaskill.
"We need a candidate that can take a comprehensive, long-term approach to the future of our district and state, and I am that candidate," Webber said. "I have a unique ability to relate to people from all walks of life. I can work with rural legislators and those from the city. I can work with liberal Democrats and moderate Republicans. I will devote my life to improving the lives of all Missourians."
