ST. LOUIS (AP) - A national law firm is rallying behind a St. Louis man's right to protest eminent domain with a painted mural on his property. The Institute for Justice will hold a news conference and rally today to announce a challenge in federal court to what it considers censorship by the city. The group and other eminent domain opponents are advocating for statewide reform. Jim Roos says the order to remove his sign is a violation of his free speech right. Roos had a large protest mural painted on his building south of the downtown in a neighborhood that is targeted for private development. The city wants the mural removed.
