KIRKWOOD (AP) - Enterprise Rent-A-Car says 25 percent of its rental vehicles at a suburban St. Louis branch can run on E-85, a fuel that is made up of 85 percent ethanol. Enterprise says it owns the world's largest vehicle fleet. The company hopes the move at one of its branches in Kirkwood will encourage the use of E-85. It's part of a nationwide effort to expand the use of alternative fuels and technology. Those involved with the effort will talk about it, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Zx Smack Shoppe in Kirkwood, which has an E-85 pump.
