IOWA - The night may belong to Mike Huckabee and Barack Obama, but that's not the whole story. Iowans came together in caucus precincts and watch parties to support their candidates.
At the Obama watch party, people couldn't have been more excited for their candidate. They high-fived, hugged and chanted back and forth like at a football game.
"Fired Up and Ready to Go," is the slogan the Obama campaign picked up at a campaign stop in South Carolina from an older councilwoman.
Earlier tonight, at a caucus location, the vibe was much the same. It's very different than what you might see at a polling place.
The republicans at one certain caucus location were mostly supporting John McCain, but they also said they weren't overly surprised that Mike Huckabee had a strong showing against Mitt Romney.
Both parties are going to go long into the night, and they hope the momentum will carry long into January and February.
