COLUMBIA - Senator John McCain and running mate, Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, were in Kansas City Monday.
Kansas City was their second stop in Missouri in eight days.
Vice-presidential candidate Joe Biden will host a town hall meeting in Columbia on Tuesday.
The even starts at 9:30 a.m. and tickets are sold out.
Senator Biden's visit follows Senator McCain's visit to Lee's Summit Monday, where thousands attended the Country First Rally.
Senator McCain complained to the partisan crowd about Barack Obama. He said he was wrong for America, and accused his opponent of flip-flopping on defense spending.
McCain also referenced the Fannie/Freddie bailout, saying these are tough times.
"This weekend Senator Obama was asked for an example of a time when he bucked his party. His answer was defense spending. He says now he wants to increase it, but during the primary he told a liberal advocacy group that he'd cut defense spending by tens of billions of dollars," said McCain.
Officials said the event on Tuesday will not disturb exercisers at the arc.
