Hearing In Triple Homicide Case Postponed

WARSAW - At the request of the public defender, the preliminary hearing for Robert Blurton has been continued to Dec. 16 at 9 a.m.

Blurton is accused in the triple-murder case from Cole Camp three months ago. The hearing had been scheduled for 11 a.m. in the Benton County Circuit Court. Prosecutors charged Blurton with shooting and killing his relatives, Donnie and Share Luetjen and their granddaughter Taron on June 7. Each died of a gunshot wound. Blurton, from Garnett, Kansas has been jailed on $3 million bond.
