COLUMBIA - A route central to travel in mid-Missouri will be a little harder to travel in two spots, starting as early as Monday evening.

Bridge construction will reduce Highway 63 down to one northbound and one southbound lane just south of Route AC. The construction starts tonight at 6 p.m., and will run until 6 a.m.

Construction crews will be finishing the new bridge, as well as constructing on- and off-ramps to the new intersection.

Additionally, MoDOT advises motorists that repairs on the new overpass on Highway 50/63 in Jefferson City will cause periodic delays on Wednesday and Thursday.

Between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on those days, the road will close for fifteen minute periods as the repairs on bridge girders are completed.
