JEFFERSON CITY - Jefferson City High School will host a blood drive in honor of former athlete Kevin Norris Friday, August 1st.
The drive will be held from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the high school.
Norris played football and baseball for the Jefferson City Jays until he was severely injured in a motorcycle accident in April. Norris spent the next seven weeks in a coma, undergoing seven different surgeries, including one on his heart. Doctors released Norris from his rehabilitation center during the July 4th weekend.
