JEFFERSON CITY - As Kenny Hulshof starts his campaign for Governor, the race to fill Missouri's Ninth District congressional seat is growing.
There have been plenty of rumors over the past few months, but this morning, State Representative Judy Baker announced she officially plans to run for Missouri's Ninth District seat.Baker is less experienced than her democratic opponents, but she says the race is about character.
"I haven't been sitting on the sidelines, and I didn't sit on the sidelines to enter this race either. I had the courage to get in when I thought it was going to be hard. I mean, some of it is showing up and saying I'm going to take it on, even when it's difficult and that's my character," said Baker.
