MID-MISSOURI - There is still a need for caution in some areas Wednesday morning after severe thunderstorms rolled through the area overnight.

KOMU 8 recieved several calls reporting a tornado in Camden county, but the National Weather Service has not yet confirmed that report.

Power outages were reported in Sienna and Osage counties, and large hail was reported in Barnett.

Flash flood warnings were issued for Camden, Maries, northern Pulaski, and Phelps counties early Monday morning. The warnings have since expired.

Authorities urge motorists to use caution in situations such as this. As little as six inches of water may cause you to lose control of your vehicle, and two feet of water will carry most vehicles away.
