HARTSBURG - Boone County deputies responded to a report of two vehicles that have crashed into a residence on Second Street in Hartsburg around 1 a.m.

Upon arrival at the scene, investigating deputies discovered both vehicles involved, a 2003 Ford F-250 and a 2001 Ford Mustang, were owned by 19 year old Dylan Hulett, of Ashland.

Officers also discovered that this was not an accident, but that Hulett, while driving the F-250, intentionally rammed the Mustang that was being driven by a 19 year old female known to Hulett.

Hulett pushed the Mustang backwards nearly 270 feet on Second Street until the vehicle came to rest against the corner of a residence. Two children, aged 1 and 5 years old, were at the residence at the time of incident.

Neither the driver of the Mustang nor the occupants of the residence were injured.

Hulett was transported to the University Hospital and arrested after released from the hospital.

Hulett is charged with one count of domestic assault First Degree, one count of property damage First Degree, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child Second Degree, driving on a suspended driver's license, and two out of county warrants for failure to appear from Warren and Cooper Counties.

Hulett's bond is set at $37,300.
