IBERIA - The mother and grandparents of a baby who died of severe burns faced a Miller County judge Monday.
The three members of the White family face child endangerment charges.
Christina White and her parents each stood separately before the judge. Christina White faced child endangerment, arson and first degree murder charges for setting her infant son on fire.
The murder charge was added after her son died. A judge combined the two separate cases on Monday and set her preliminary hearing for Sept. 19.
Shortly after Christina left the courtroom, her parents Walter and Charleana White made separate appearances. Both were charged with child endangerment involving their grandchildren. The couple were assigned the same public defender as their daughter on Monday. They have a case review scheduled for Sept. 10.
