COLUMBIA - A team of drug enforcement units tracked down a massive stockpile of marijuana.
The Columbia Police Department says its narcotics unit worked with the St. Charles County Drug Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Agency to serve a narcotics search warrant at 807 N. Seventh St.
The three groups worked together on an investigation on marijuana sales. Inside the home, officers found about 52 pounds of marijuana, $25,000 in cash and about four grams of powder cocaine. Two men were arrested: 34 year old Miguel Ramos and 27 year old Jose Danilo Marquez. Ramos was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute. Marquez was charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.
