Researchers found 57 percent of diabetics skipped insulin shots occasionally.  They also found about 20 percent regularly missed injections.

Some patients in the study say the pain of taking the shot or taking it in public are two reasons they are skipping their shots.

Researchers say doctors need to make sure patients are comfortable to speak openly about diabetes.

Irregular Heart Rhythms and Stroke

Research shows certain irregular heart rhythms can lead to stroke risks or heart failure.

New research shows using catheters may be more effective than drug therapy for irregular heart rhythms.

Doctors say this process adds radio frequency energy, which heats up and destroys the pulmonary veins in order to prevent damaging the rest of the heart.

Botox for Feet

Doctors are now using botox to help foot problems caused by damage to the brain or spinal cord.

Patients that have had the treatment say it's helped them walk more comfortably.
