KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Security will be heavier than usual at Arrowhead Stadium for Saturday night's Missouri-Kansas football game.

Stadium officials say more security officers will be positioned on the field in hopes of keeping goalposts from being torn down by fans after the game. The goalposts will be needed for Sunday's Chiefs game against Oakland.

Kansas City police say the department's security contingent will be about 30 percent higher than that provided for a Chiefs game. Jackson County deputies and Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers will also be working the game. Beer sales will be shut off at halftime, just as they are for Chiefs games played at night.
