Dominique Morrison had 21 points for the Golden Eagles as Oral Roberts shocked Missouri at home. The Tigers traveled to Tulsa expecting a small-conference team, but instead, they found a competitive club matching them shot for shot.

Missouri took its first lead on a Justin Safford shot as the final seconds of the first half ticked off, which put them up 26-24 at the time. Oral Roberts did not take that lead back until there were 0.9 seconds remaining on the clock, when Kevin Ford put a lay-up in on a pass from Morrison. Quite the symmetrical ending for the Golden Eagles, as Ford dominated the game early with eight points. However, after he went down with an injury on a collision with Missouri's J.T. Tiller with about four minutes left in the first half, he was held scoreless until Oral Roberts' final two possessions. Morrison found Ford on back-to-back plays for the Golden Eagles, once with 10.7 seconds remaining and the latter for the game-winner.

Marcus Denmon tied his career high in points for the Tigers, but neither his 17 points nor his 4-6 shooting from long-range were good enough to pull out the victory. Keith Ramsey had four points and nine rebounds - six offensive, which were all in the first half. The Tigers shot 26-65 (40%) from the field and 6-16 (37.5%) from three, but only went 1-3 from the line. Missouri missed the front end of two one-and-ones down the stretch, one by Zaire Taylor and one by Marcus Denmon. Denmon's miss led to Ford's game-winning shot.

The Tigers, once again, struggled under the rim, finishing with a minus-eight rebounding margin and were dominated by the Golden Eagles' forwards - Ford (13 rebounds), Michael Craion (eight rebounds) and Morrison (seven rebounds)

First Half

17:00 - After another tip-in by Oral Roberts, Justin Safford is called for the charge for Missouri. 6-0, Oral Roberts.

15:50 - A couple of fast break baskets for Missouri could spark the Tigers. This Missouri team has a tendency to start off halves slowly, then make runs coming out of the media timeouts. Let's see if they do it again tonight. 8-4, Oral Roberts.

15:07 - After the first media timeout, let's see if Missouri can come out with a spark. 8-4, Oral Roberts.

12:52 - Dominique Morrison misses a shot for Oral Roberts as the shot clock runs out, but gets his own rebound and is fouled. Missouri is already -3 in the rebounding column. 10-6, Oral Roberts.

12:18 - Kim English airballs a shot from baseline. He does not seem to have the same mentality that he had at the end of the Oregon game, when he was looking to spread the ball around more. Missouri is 4-15 from the field. 13-8, Oral Roberts.

11:13 - So much for playing well coming out of the first media timeout. Maybe that will change as we hit the second. An Oral Roberts' and-one give the Golden Eagles their biggest lead of the game, seven, with the free throw pending. 15-8, Oral Roberts.

10:58 - Now a traveling violation for Missouri gives the ball right back to Oral Roberts. Mike Anderson looks less than enthusiastic. 16-8, Oral Roberts.

10:15 - Marcus Denmon makes a nice cross-over move to get to the hoop but gets stuffed at the hoop. A great block by Michael Craion sends the ball out of bounds. After a Safford miss, Oral Roberts makes it a double-digit game. 18-8, Oral Roberts.

9:39 - Mike Anderson uses his first timeout of the game. He cannot be pleased with the way his team is playing. The Tigers are 4-17 from the field.

8:10 - A pretty hook shot by Kevin Ford gives him six points for the Golden Eagles. He is commanding the inside for Oral Roberts. 20-10, Oral Roberts.

7:43 - The third media timeout enters with Missouri still down ten. The defense has not looked that bad - Oral Roberts has made some tough shots - but the offense looks terrible. The Tigers are not creating shots for themselves, simply passing it around the perimeter and waiting for someone to make a move. 20-10, Oral Roberts.

7:30 - And once again the tigers settle for an outside shot with plenty of time left on the shot clock. Kim English puts up a fade-away three and Ford pulled down his sixth rebound. 20-10, Oral Roberts.

6:14 - Zaire Taylor with great hustle on a cross-court pass and makes a great block of a three. Missouri still down. 20-12, Oral Roberts.

5:30 - English misses on a floater driving to the hoop, but Keith Ramsey gets the offensive board and the putback. Tigers within six. 20-14, Oral Roberts.

4:45 - Kevin Ford with another rebound and putback. He has 8 now. 22-14, Oral Roberts.

3:48 - Missouri gets it back on a traveling violation, Bowers is blocked on the third-chance opportunity leading to a fast break dunk for Oral Roberts. 24-14, Oral Roberts.

3:45 - The Tigers go into the last media timeout of the half shooting 7-29 from the field and 0-5 from three. 24-14, Oral Roberts.

2:37 - Michael Dixon on the break and blocked on a Lebron-like play by Kevin Ford. Great hustle back down court. Missouri get sthe ball back and Ford is injured on the play. That could be a big loss for the Golden Eagles. 24-14, Oral Roberts.

2:12 - Marcus Denmon hits Missouri's first three of the game. then gets a steal and gets the and-one on the fast break and all of a sudden, Missouri is right in this game. 24-20, Missouri.

1:13 - Another fast break bucket, this time Dixon to Tiller cuts the Golden Eagle lead to two. Then Bowers to Tiller ties it up at 24. The Tigers are on a 12-0 run. 24-24.

1:13 - Oral Robets calls a timeout to try to regather themselves. Missouri is outscoring Oral Roberts 16-0 on points of turnovers.

Halftime - Justin Safford hits a shot that just beats the buzzer and puts Missouri up two at the half and gives the Tigers their first lead of the game. The Tigers end the half on a 14-0 run. The Tigers are shooting 33% compared to Oral Roberts' 50%. Each team has made one three and one free throw. However, the big number of the half is that Missouri has outshot Oral Roberts 36-22. It is doubtful that the Tigers will shoot such a poor percentage in the second half, also. If they can maintain that same shot attempt margin, they should be able to make a run and break this game open. 26-24, Missouri.

Second Half

20:00 - One more note: Missouri has 15 rebounds and 12 of them are offensive. 26-24, Missouri.

19:00 - Craion connects for Oral Roberts to give them a one point lead but J.T. Tiller comes right back with a three. 29-27, Missouri.

17:57 - Justin Safford hits a fifteen-footer to give the Tigers their biggest lead of the game. 31-27, Missouri.

17:20 - Oral Roberts just will not go away. Dominique Morrison hits an open three from the corner. But Justin Safford comes back and scores again. 33-30, Missouri.

16:45 - Morrison hits another shot. After a defensive-minded first half, these teams are just trading shot for shot now. 33-32, Missouri.

16:20 - After Missouri gets the ball back on a traveling violation, Oral Roberts' third turnover, Safford puts it in again. He has scored Missouri's last six points. 35-32.

15:39 - Going into the first media timeout, the Tigers seem to have a little more pep to their step. J.T. Tiller is heading to the line to shoot two after being fouled on a fast break. 35-32, Missouri.

14:25 - After a missed Zaire Taylor three, Keith Ramsey is called for the hold and Oral Roberts gets the ball back. But Morrison runs the baseline, when he is not allowed to and is called for a traveling violation. Missouri gets it back. 35-32, Missouri.

13:55 - Kim English hits his first three of the night, a fadeaway and Missouri goes up six. 38-32, Missouri.

13:05 - Marcus Denmon makes a move and hits a three with a hand in his face as the shot clock ran out. The Tigers have hit three threes so far in this half after hitting only one in the first half. 41-32, Missouri.

12:00 - Michael Dixon hits a nice floater off the glass. 43-34, Missouri.

11:25 - Oral Roberts just will not give up. Michael Craion makes the and-one and the Golden Eagles seem to still be treading water. 43-36, Missouri.

11:05 - When Marcus Denmon gets hot, he is hot. He hits another three, this one from deep. 46-37, Missouri.

9:38 - Laurence Bowers with the rejection and then Michael Dixon takes it away and gets fouled on the floor on the fast breat. 46-37, Missouri.

8:39 - Michael Craion gets the fourth-chance point for Oral Roberts. 48-39, Missouri.

8:15 - Laurence Bowers puts in the second-chance point to put Missouri up double digits, but then Morrison gets his own rebound and makes the and-one on the other end. 50-42, Missouri.

7:32 - Kyron Stokes hits a three for Oral Roberts. The Golden Eagles are by no means out of this game. 52-45, Missouri.

7:12 - Marcus Denmon hits his fourth three of the game and Missouri is up double-digits once again. Denmon has a lot of confidence in his shot. When he is on, he is going to keep shooting. Tonight, he has tied his career high in points, set just a few nights ago, with 17. 55-45, Missouri.

6:41 - A Kyron Stokes three goes out of bounds for Oral Roberts and the game goes into a media timeout. The Tigers are shooting well from beyond the arc - 5-8 in the second half. 55-45, Missouri.

6:00 - Kevin Ford is fouled by Justin Safford on his way up. After dominating the first half for Oral Roberts, Ford is yet to make a shot from the field in the second half. He has not scored since he went down with that injury with four minutes left in the first half. Ford misses both free throws. 55-45, Missouri.

4:14 - J.T. Tiller puts in a wide open lay-up. The Oral Roberts defense collapsed. 57-49, Missouri.

3:39 - As we head into the final media timeout of regulation, Missouri has an eight point lead. The Tigers need to slow the ball down and start making sure they get a good shot off. They are still trying ti out-run Oral Roberts and have gotten sloppy a couple of times. With a lead and only about three minutes remaining, they should be treating the clock as their friend, milking the gameclock and waiting for a good shot. 57-49, Missouri.

3:18 - After a couple of free throws by Dominique Morrison put Oral Roberts within six, J.T. Tiller drives towards the basket and gets fouled in the paint. He will go to the line for two. 57-51, Missouri.

2:41 - Zaire Taylor gets sloppt and turns it over and Morrison again hits a floater from the baseline. Oral roberts only down four. 57-53, Missouri.

2:20 - J.T. Tiller is called for a carry and it is a turnover. 57-53, Missouri.

1:40 - Zaire Taylor is fouled and is heading to the line but misses the front end of a one and one. 57-53, Missouri.

1:27 - Morrison with another and-one for Oral Roberts. He is too fast for a big man to be on him and too big for a guard to be on him. Morrison hits the free throw. 57-56, Missouri.

53.3 - Bowers is rejected downlow and Oral Roberts gets the ball back with the chance to take the lead, but J.T. Tiller gets the steal on a tremendous hustle play, dives on the floor and calls the timeout.

24.8 - Marcus Denmon misses a runner but Oral Roberts forgets to block out Laurence Bowers, who is ready in the lane for the tip-in. 59-56, Missouri.

10.7 - Morrison finds Kevin Ford out of the double-team for the dunk to make it a one-point game again. 59-58, Missouri.

0.9 - Marcus Denmon misses the front end of a one-and-one and Dominique Morrison takes it up court and finds Kevin Ford, who makes the lay-up to give Oral Roberts the lead. Missouri has missed the front end of both of their one-and-ones this half. 60-59, Oral Roberts.
